You can be determined without being frantic. You can be
powerfully purposeful without thrashing around and bouncing
off the walls.
Let your sense of determination come not from fear, but from
love. Focus your energy not on what you wish to avoid, but
on what you intend to create.
In a calm and peaceful spirit there is great power. When
driven by a positive purpose, you'll always have the energy
to move forward.
There may certainly be situations you detest, that you wish
to move quickly away from. Yet when that is your only focus,
when you're constantly looking backwards, you're more likely
to stumble.
Choose where you do want to be, what you do want to
experience and the life you do want to lead. Make your goals
positive, and your actions will be immensely more effective.
Be calmly and persistently determined to achieve what you
have chosen to achieve. And you'll find ways to put every
day, and every circumstance, to work in your favor.

Accept The Responsibility
There is no other person who is smart enough, or experienced
enough, or informed enough or insightful enough to tell you
how to live. That's up to you.
Certainly the advice and guidance of others can be extremely
valuable. Yet when it comes to expressing and fulfilling the
best of who you are, you are the world's foremost expert.
It feels good to be praised and it hurts to be criticized.
Always keep in mind, though, that those who offer their
opinions of you cannot possibly see the whole picture.
Your life is your responsibility. That is simultaneously a
sobering obligation and a fantastic opportunity.
Successful living is difficult work and yet you are
absolutely qualified to do it. You are worthy and capable of
creating and enjoying whatever it is that truly fulfills
you.
Make the commitment, do the work, accept the responsibility
that is necessary for that fulfillment. Live the outstanding

Anything Possible

something into enthusiasm for getting it done? The powerful
and amazing thing is, you can.
Instead of being angry about something that's happened, you
can be determined to make it right. Instead of being
disappointed by the setbacks, you can be motivated by the
new possibilities they've created.
What are you looking at, that looks difficult or painful or
annoying or just plain impossible? What if you looked at it
differently?
You can choose your perspective, you can choose your
feelings, you can choose your thoughts, your words and your
actions. No matter what life sends your way, you can choose
how to look at it and what to do with it.
Get in the habit of looking at life with love and gratitude,
and with enthusiasm for the positive possibilities. When you

Consequences of making that choice
Discipline is easier than it sounds. Discipline is nothing
more than choosing, with intention and positive purpose,
while considering all the consequences of making that
choice.
Discipline is a matter of controlling the person over whom
you already have the most control. That person is you.
When you focus on the consequences of each action you take,
on the short term and long term consequences, discipline
comes easily and naturally. Discipline is the recognition
and celebration of the fact that your actions have
influence.
By choosing your actions you can choose your results. By
choosing your actions you can choose the life you create for
yourself.
Discipline is not a punishment or a burden when you choose
it for yourself. Discipline is one of life's greatest
opportunities.
Choose in each moment to exercise the control that you
already have. Live and act with discipline, and create a
life of true fulfillment.

Motivation, Inspiration, Commitment, and Strength
The way to know how is to know why. The way to find enough
motivation, inspiration, commitment and strength is to know
why.
Why do you seek what you seek? Why do you desire to reach
the goals you have set?
There is a purpose within you that will push you to overcome
every obstacle. When you truly feel that your efforts are
connected to that purpose, those efforts will surely bring
the desired results.
It's easy to imitate the dreams and aspirations of those
around you, and to think you want what they want. But
remember that you have your very own, unique dreams, and
those are the dreams to follow.
Instead of frustration, you can experience joy. Instead of
disappointment, you can know fulfillment.
It all comes from truly knowing why. Allow yourself to
understand why, and whatever you can imagine will be yours
to create.
