Reaching Your Goal
When you see someone who is enormously successful, you naturally want to know how he or she did it. Although it can certainly be helpful to understand how others achieve, that's not really the most crucial factor.
For your own success, it is even more important to clearly know what you wish to achieve, and to clearly understand why you wish to achieve it. Once you're absolutely certain about what and why, you are absolutely able to figure out how.
Even before you could talk, you were able to figure out how to get what you wanted. As your knowledge and experience have increased, so have your skills for reaching your goals.
If you're having trouble attaining any of those goals, it's not because you don't know how, or because you can't figure it out. The problem is you're not completely clear about exactly what you wish, or not completely sure about why.
It could be that the goal itself is not really yours. If it's just something you assumed would be nice, that's not going to give you a strong enough sense of purpose.
Dig deep into your purpose and make sure that what you're working toward is truly what you desire. Once you're clear about what and why, you'll know what steps to take.

Move Forward
Go ahead, jump in, make the effort and make it happen. Now is your chance to get it done.
If you're worried that there will be too many problems, quit worrying. There will be plenty of problems and you'll work your way through every one of them.
If you're wondering whether it will be worth the effort, stop wondering and start doing. You're much better off doing something than doing nothing.
Are you waiting until you're sure you can get it perfect. Stop waiting, start doing, and though it may not be perfect, it will be done, and you can then improve on it all you wish.
Do you seem to be encountering too many distractions? Remind yourself why you have chosen to move forward, and re-focus your efforts.
You will achieve when you choose to do. This is your time to do.

Free to Choose
Is there something that frustrates you? Don't focus on the
frustration, but rather on the opportunity for improvement.
Is there something that makes you angry? Instead of being
consumed with anger, consider the opportunities for
understanding.
Is there something that frightens you? Don't focus on the
fear, but rather on the opportunity to better prepare
yourself.
Is there something that makes you sad? Rather than focusing
on the sadness, be thankful for the fact that you care so
much.
Is there something that makes you anxious? Don't focus on
the anxiety, but rather on the positive purpose you wish to
achieve.
No matter what happens, you are always free to choose where
to focus. Choose to focus on the positive, and you'll be
choosing to bring great value to life.

You truly Have the Power
In ways you can clearly see and in ways you'll never
understand, your expectations become your reality. What you
expect most sincerely and persistently, you experience.
All that is within you constantly works to meet the
expectations you set for yourself and for your world. You
will see, and hear, and touch, and taste, and learn, and
achieve whatever you expect.
When those around you are filled with dismay, it is easy to
expect the worst. Yet surprisingly, it is just as easy to
expect the best when you simply choose to do so, and a whole
lot more beneficial.
Begin each day with the confident expectation of specific
achievements. At the end of the day, most of those
expectations will have been met.
Expectation compels you to find a way. Expectation taps into
the large and rich store of resources in your life.
Expect the best of yourself and of those around you. For you
truly have the power to make those expectations real.

Are you ready now to achieve?
When you find yourself making an excuse, take a good, careful
look at that excuse. What if you could transform it into a
powerful reason for stepping forward?
Whatever serves as an excuse for not taking action can
instead serve as a compelling reason to go ahead and act. It
all depends on how you choose to see it.
Stop and listen to the excuses you make. You'll realize that
they're only excuses because you cast them as such.
The events and circumstances in your life are what they are.
What makes them meaningful to you is the way you choose to
see them and respond to them.
There are plenty of perfectly reasonable excuses for not
moving forward, if you decide to view them as such. Yet it
is just as realistic to see those same factors as reasons to
take action without delay.
Whatever may be stopping you could be pushing you forward.
Are you ready now to achieve?

Continually Convincing Yourself
The most challenging part of any achievement is continually
convincing yourself to keep working on it. When you are
truly convinced to do it, you will take the necessary
actions to make it happen.
Give yourself a compelling reason to achieve, stay connected
to that reason, and you will indeed achieve. You can be
magnificently effective when you choose to be.
If there are things you must know, you can learn them. If
there are resources you must have, you can locate them.
Convince yourself to achieve, and you will find a way. Life
unfolds in accordance with your most powerful and meaningful
commitments.
It is helpful to be able to persuade others, yet the most
important person you must convince is you. Unless you
sincerely convince yourself, no amount of persuasion of
other people will be able to move you forward.
Convince yourself that what you are doing is right and
worthwhile. Then delight in the fulfilling journey of making
it happen.
