Today is the Day

Today is the day I start living, wiping out those bad thought and memories. Just as though you were wiping off a black board, using an eraser to make things disappear.
Although each morning I struggle to get out of bed, I pray that today will be that new beginning. Only I can begin to live and forget, wiping it completely clean.
Or maybe it isn't possible, maybe I need more prayer, to be blessed or even go as far as removing that portion of the brain.

I know that I have the strength to overcome this desire of addiction and yet I become weak and aloud the demon to interfere with my life.

I want to begin to start a happy lifestyle without the addiction taking over,
I want happiness and wisdom and courage and strength.

I will
I will
I will begin, and today is the day to start living and start forgetting.

Transforming your character

Let me be absolutely clear: You will never become God, or even a god. That prideful lie is Satan's oldest temptation. Stan promised Adam and Eve that if they followed his advice, "ye shall be as gods" Many religions and New Age Philosophies still promote this old lie that we are divine or can become gods.

This desire to be a god shows up every time we try to control our circumstances, our future, and people around us (can't tell you how many times my Mother has told me this). But as creatures, we will never be the Creator. God doesn't want you to become a god; he wants you to become godly--taking on his values, attitudes, and character. The Bible says, "Take on an entirely new way of life---a God-fashioned life, a life renewed from the inside and working itself into your conduct as God accurately reproduces his character in you.

God's ultimate goal for your life on earth is not comfort, but character development. He wants you to grow up spiritually and become like Christ. Becoming like Christ does not mean losing your personality or becoming a mindless clone. God created your uniqueness, so he certainly doesn't want to destroy it. Christlikeness is all about transforming your character, not your personality.

Never forget that life is not about You !
You exisit for God's purposes, not vice versa.

Why would God provide"Heaven on earth"when he's planned the real thing for you in eternity? God gives us our time on earth to build and strengthen our character for heaven.

Your character is essentially the sum of your habits.

God is far more interested in what you are than what you do.

Small step away

This day is too valuable to waste. The people in your life
are too beautiful to ignore.

Take a moment to remember how fortunate you are to be you.
Take a look around, with your eyes lovingly and
enthusiastically open to the possibilities.

Most of what you fear does not even exist. Much of what you
love is closer than you realize.

You are just one small step away from being on the path
toward your most treasured dream. You are just one brief
thought away from understanding the richness that is your
life.

You have traveled a long way to be where you are. With every
step you have gained something of real and lasting value.

Now is a day to move forward with more experience, knowledge
and wisdom than ever before. Now is your moment to realize
and fulfill the miracle that is your life.
